Bronze split bearings are designed in two halves, and in some cases three or four, so they can be installed or replaced without removing the entire shaft or disassembling the machine.

They are produced using 99.99% pure copper alloys that are carefully formulated to meet both industry standards and customer performance requirements. The bearing blanks are produced through centrifugal casting to keep the material structure uniform and consistent. Then, the sample pieces are kept for up to five years to make sure every batch can be traced and verified when needed. Each bearing is then precision-machined on five-axis CNC equipment to achieve accurate dimensions and a smooth finish. Every step of the process is carried out under ISO9001 and CCS quality standards, and once the final products are ready, they are tested in our CNAS-certified laboratory to confirm their reliability and consistency.

Features

Bronze split bearings, particularly those made from high-strength bronze alloys, are widely used in heavy machinery and industrial equipment. Compared with standard bearings, they offer the following advantages:

  • Bronze split bearings are made in two halves, so it's easier to install or remove directly from the shaft or housing without having to take apart the entire machine where they are installed.
  • Since bronze alloys combine strength and durability, they can be further enhanced through precise heat treatment and machining. This process increases hardness to over 200 HV, giving the bearings excellent resistance to wear and deformation under heavy loads.
  • Bronze has excellent heat conductivity, which allows quick heat transfer and effective temperature control, to help bearings remain stable and prevent overheating during continuous, high-speed, or high-temperature operation, significantly extending their service life.
  • Bronze naturally absorbs vibration and impact without losing its form.
